This package gives you everything you need to start your business with clarity, and a beautiful, aligned presence without the overwhelm.
I will guide you through a soft, supportive process to uncover your style in a form of a mini-branding, choose colours that match your energy, and create a website that feels warm, inviting, and easy to use. It’s the perfect starting point from where you can grow.
Branding:
We’ll start with the visual identity, which is the basis of your brand. We’ll do this in a form of a mini-branding, which starts with a brand identity questionnaire to uncover the personality of your brand. From this I will create a color palette that aligns with your vision, fonts that match the personality, and a text-based logo (including different versions that are easy to use for different purposes).
You will receive a mini brand guidelines so that it’s easy to stay consistent.

Then we’ll move to the website creation. My packages always includes the following WordPress set-up:
→ Domain and hosting assistance + set-up help (monthly cost of hosting not included)
→ Email set-up via your hosting provider
→ Full WordPress set-up and premium Divi theme Installation (including all of the needed plugins for security, backup etc).
→ Divi theme access for life.
Website content:
The biggest chunk of work for you is the content (text) for the website. But not to worry, I have a Website Copy Guide that will guide you through the process and it will help you to structure the text. If you want help with figuring out your story, you can add on the coaching session “Brand Story Retrieval Session.”
Your website also needs professional, good quality images. Unfortunately there are no design tricks possible that can compensate for poor quality (or only stock) images. Ideally I will need 8-10 professional quality images made to match your branding (which we will define before we start, so please hold off on the photoshoot until we have your brand personality and colors defined). If you need help, let me know, and I can recommend some brand photographers I know.

Website build:
As for the website itself, you will receive:
→ Website with 1–3 pages based on your needs (Home, About, Contact or Services)
→ Additional, supportive (legal) pages: Terms & Conditions, Cookies

You will also get access to my training material in case you want to learn how to update and maintain the website yourself. If you want me to maintain your website, you can join one of my maintenance programs.

Project duration: 3-5 weeks
The payment is divided into two, 50% before we start, and 50% before we go live.
The duration of the project needs active involvement from your side, and the faster you can deliver the needed documents, the faster we can proceed. I can work with websites in English, Dutch and Finnish.

Technical stuff
Here are more details about the technical things, the tools I use, and what you can expect.
Domain and hosting assistance:
I use DreamHost, and have for a decade now, and this is what I will recommend to you as well, unless you have anoter hosting provider that you’d rather work with.
I will show you what to get, and you will have the hosting on your name (plus yearly fees are on you as well). I find it important for the client to have the hosting in their name, ownership is power.
During this step we will register your domain as well, so the www. adress for your website. I will set up the needed email accounts for you.
Website platform and theme:
I use WordPress, and the theme that I work with is Divi from Elegant Themes. I will do the full WordPress set-up, and install the Divi theme, including all of the needed plugins for security, backup etc.
You will have a lifetime access to the Divi theme through my life-time account. If at any time you would want to have this on your own account, you can purchase Divi yourself and update the API key (I will show you how).
Optimization:
Your site will be designed responsive to all formats, desktop, tablet and mobile, and I will test it on multiple browsers and phone types before going live.
Your site will be SEO optimazed, and I will submit the site-map to Google so that the search engines will find you. Having said that, good SEO is a long term game, so how you maintain your site (such as through blogs, links etc) affects the searchability as well, and therefore the SEO optimation we do could be considered technical. Functional SEO is how you use your site during the months and years after we go live.
Website Maintenance
Every website needs maintenance. Without care, you will risk malware, malfunction and losing the investment you have made into your business.
It is my aim to provide you with the tools, guidance and the knowledge to be able to maintain your website yourself. But even if being independent can be empowering, you don’t have to if you don’t want to. You can view my monthly maintenance prices here.
